Richard Yeomans
Richard Yeomans has been training in the Martial arts for over 25 years including Boxing, Brazilian Jujitsu, Thai Boxing, MMA, Olympic Freestyle Wrestling and Submission Grappling. Richard runs the gym and believes that students should be taught in a progressive, Safe, controlled manner and that Martial arts should be available to all that want to learn.
Richard continues to develop his own skills travelling to train alongside some of the most well known martial art coaches around the globe. In september 2009 he travelled to Las Vegas and spent a month training at Xtreme Couture and Robert Drysdale's gym which attracts such fighters such as Forrest Griffin and Frank Mir.
Tom Dermott
Tom started boxing to achieve improvements in his self confidence and physical ability, after learning the 'noble art of boxing' Needing a fresh challenge, he pursued the art of Muay Thai, which led to him becoming a fully certified instructor under the International Muay Thai Camp. Tom of trained under many great coaches and figters in his time including Lee Ferrie, Paul Daley, Lee Livingstone, Owen Comrie and of course Eval Denton. Tom strongly believes Muay Thai to be "the best stand up fighting art around." Tom has also travelled to Thailand to further develop his skills and level of understanding. It was here that he gained invaluable techniques and coaching from the current Muay Thai world champion.
He has also qualified as a boxing coach and self defence instructor.
Tom is energetic, motivated and passionate about his classes and his art, his enthusiasm is sure to rub off and provide you with fun, dynamic and unique experience.
Tom is available for private lessons in Muay Thai, Boxing, Self Protection and strength and conditioning at the centre.
Lee Ferrie
Lee has been boxing since the age of 10 and fought his first A.B.A bout at 16. He progressed to becoming a A.B.A. National finalist and was ranked England's Number One Amateur. After reaching the British Amateur Boxing Association Finals Lee decided to turn professional and retired from Professional boxing undefeated!. Lee is one of the UK's leading boxing coaches, Lee has had many fighters train with him including Jeff Monson (UFC MMA fighter) Steve Bendall (former professional middlweight champion) Troy James (Current Professional Boxer) Lee not only heads and teaches our boxing classes he also coaches our MMA fighters. Lee he is dedicated into teaching everyone with a totally unique and enthusiastic coaching style.
Lee is available for private lessons Boxing at the centre.
Eval Denton
Eval is a man of many talents, he has over 35 years experience in Martial arts, 27 years of which have been in full contact Thai and Kickboxing. In his career he has held; 2 WORLD TITLES, 3 EUROPEAN TITLES and 8 BRITISH TITLES..eval started his training in Wado ryu karate which he achieved a black belt, he then moved on to full contact and has trained and completed in over 75 professional bouts in kick boxing, Thai boxing, Oriental rules Thai boxing, K-1 rules Thai boxing. eval also trains and completes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Eval has limited availability for private lessons in Thai Boxing / K-1 / Kickboxing and Fitness at the centre

Rob Stevens
Rob started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2001 and was awarded his Black Belt in December 2011.
Rob is an Instructor at the Combat Exercise Centre. He has over 15 years experience in martial arts and has a good knowledge of physical & mental conditioning having played Rugby for over 20 years. He is also a certified first-aider and as a father of 4 he has a strong family background.
Rob has completed in BJJ from the start of his training and has achieved an impressive competition record including winning Gold in his category in the BJJ Europeans held in Lisbon Portugal.
Rob has an open and approachable method of teaching, which creates a friendly atmosphere conducive to learning. He also competes on a regular basis and has had successes in several different weight divisions
John Ellis
John has been doing Judo since he was 10yrs old. By the age of 16 John was the Amateur Judo Association Senior National Champion and began training as much as he could under Neil Adams M.B.E.. Since then John has graded and competed in the British Judo Association, becoming one of the countries youngest 4th Dans when he was 32yrs old. Since the age of 20 John has competed for the British Judo Association in several international competitions across Europe. Now aged 37 John still competes and he became the Commonwealth Grandmasters Judo Champion in January 2012.
John has also used his Judo skills to good effect in other combat disciplines. In 2011 John won Gold in his category at the BJJ British Open, and he also had his first Semi-Pro MMA fight which he won at 1min 5sec of Round 1 by submission.
Over the years John has trained with several World and Olympic Champions gaining a vast amount of knowledge, his main interest now is teaching Judo and sharing the wealth of experience that he has gained.
John also qualified as a Self Defence and Personal Safety Instructor to the Police.
John teaches in Judo lessons for children and adults, and also teaches Judo based take-down techniques in BJJ and MMA classes.
